Xtreme Playzone at Asquith

Asquith has arrived! You can now play laser tag, mini golf and bumper cars at the Xtreme Playzone center, and don't have to drive half hour to the nearest respectable play area.

The downside is most of the stuff are for the bigger kids (about 7 above).

For $25, Number One had a play at laser tage, mini golf, laser frenzy (avoid touching the lasers, ala security Mission Impossible style) and bumper cars. He and his friends spent a good two hours playing these games -his favourite was the laser tag. I can comprehend that, having played laser tag and paintball before - shooting people is always a blast!

Poor Number Two felt left out - he kept wanting to go on the bumper cars, but it had an age restriction of 7 years. Thankfully for the younger kids, there's the softplay area. The area isn't as big as say, Lollipops Playland, but for $5 a play on weekdays, it's a good deal for moms wanting an indoor place for the young ones to bounce about in while they have a good cuppa.

The arcade is small and seems like an afterthought, but it's still good for a few games. Standard games are a respectable $1.

A pinball machine! Haven't seen that in awhile...

The playzone is at 57, Salisbury Road, some 750 metres from the Asquith station by foot, according to Google Map's directions.
